Hi everyone, before I start babbling on I would just like to say this is going to be more of a lifestyle post then a fashion one. This last week I have been relaxing and tanning in Abu Dhabi! it is my favourite place to be.
The food at the restaurant I was staying at was amazing! It was buffet for Breakfast and Dinner. There was such a vast range of chooses from, you where sure to find something you liked.
At Breakfast there was a pastry section, with every type of pastry you could think of. On the end of the pastry table there was honey, but it wasn't just a pot it was off the cone its self. There was a hot section and a fruit section. In the fruit section there was dragon fruit which I hadn't had before, but it just tasted of nothing, I found.

At Dinner, similar to breakfast there was hot and cold. In the cold section they had small salads beautifully presented, like in the picture above. Pudding was the most incredible, there were lots of small puddings and then a few whole cakes at the end of the table. The small puddings where perfect because it meant you could have more of them and also more flavour, the way they were presented were outstanding!
My dad and my sisters boyfriends had lunch and everyday they would have the same… sashimi! I managed to pinch a few, most days.
Food overall was just amazing and I found I was never hungry and went to bed full, which is always nice. The time and effort which had gone into the food is crazy and I wish I could tell the chefs how great they were!
During the day we mainly sunbathed, the main events was a game of chess and smoothy o'clock. I played chess with my sisters boyfriend who was really good, I only beat him a few times, when he probably beat me about 20. The board was in a hut (a very nice hut) which was sheltered from the sun, which was nice to cool down in. The board was really big and so were the counters!

Smoothie o'clock, was at 1:00, when we had all started to become thirsty. There was such a wide range of flavours to choose from but the passion fruit one was my favourite. Most days we had it in the swim up bar, but some on the bar just beside the pool.
At the other end of the hotel were two slides, one open, one closed. They were really good fun. You went really fast on them, I went every day with someone from the family because they were such good fun. Also there was a lazy river going around the slide, which was nice to relax on, in a blow up donut.
The sea was so blue and you could look out for miles, the sea was very warm as well which made it so nice to swim in, as the pool was chilled.
This holiday has been one of the best ever, the views, the temperature, the food and the hotel. We would watch the sun set from our sun beds each day and then go and get ready for the evening meal. I did not want to leave! Hopefully we will come back sometime next year, well that would be lovely. I have a blog post about camels next and then a couple of fashion ones, I hope you enjoy them.
